Rockett Interactive adds two new employees to their growing team

(NOVEMBER XX, 2010) CARY, N.C. – In keeping with the growth that landed them on Triangle Business Journal’s Fast 50 and the Inc. 500|5000 list of fastest growing companies in the US, Rockett Interactive has added Benjamin Flecha as a Supervisor of Connection Planning and Nick Tompkins as a Client Engagement Manager to their growing team.

Benjamin Flecha joins Rockett Interactive from Campbell-Ewald in Warren, Michigan where he worked as Media Planning Supervisor. As Supervisor of Connection Planning, Flecha will be responsible for strategic online media planning across multiple disciplines and industries for all clients.

Flecha brings more than ten years of media planning experience working with some of the nation’s most recognizable brands including the US Postal Service, National City Bank and Farmers Insurance. While at Campbell-Ewald in Michigan, he worked with an array of both traditional and nontraditional media. Flecha also oversaw all Digital Media planning, execution, analysis and optimization for the US Postal Service which helped win his team the distinction of Media Week’s 2010 Media Plan of the Year in the category of Integrated Campaigns spending $25 Million or more.

Flecha earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising from Michigan State University and is married with two children.

Nick Tompkins comes to the team from Charleston, SC where he was the Marketing Manager at Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum. As Client Engagement Manager, Tompkins will develop digital marketing solutions for clients and translate these strategies into innovative media recommendations.

Having worked on both the agency and client side, Tompkins has operated in multiple functions throughout the industry including marketing, public relations and social media. He brings entertainment, tourism and retail industry experience to Rockett having worked with clients like MTV Networks, Orient Express Hotels and OfficeMax. Tompkins was recently named a top 5 finalist in the race for 2010 Charleston American Marketing Association’s Marketer of the Year.

Tompkins attended the University of South Carolina where he earned his Masters in Mass Communications.
